KDE 4.2.4 has been released!

On the 3rd of June 2009, KDE 4.2.4, codename CornRow, has been released by the KDE community. This release contains mainly bugfixes on some components of the desktop environment. KDE 4.2.4 is the last release planned for the KDE 4.2 series, which will be followed up by KDE 4.3 at the end of July. Notable improvements in these release include, but are not limited to, Okular (KDE's document viewer), KMail and Konqueror. For a partial list of changes click here.

Currently pre-compiled packages are available for (in alphabetical order) Debian, Fedora Core 9, 10 and 11, Kubuntu, Mandriva 2009.0 and 2009.1 and OpenSUSE 10.3, 11.0 and 11.1. If you want to try an openSUSE 11.1 based Live-CD with KDE 4.2.4 and/or a Live-CD with KDE 4.3 Beta 1, click here.
